The PineTime is a smartwatch powered by Nordic Semiconductor nRF52832, and it is capable of running various open source firmware. The PineTime comes preinstalled with InfiniTime, an open source firmware actively developed and maintained by PINE64 community developers. The software offers support for all core smartwatch functionality as well as more advanced features, such as an accurate pedometer or heart rate monitoring. The firmware also allows you to change the watchface, set an alarm or a timer, control music playback on your smartphone, receive notifications, wake the watch display on lifting your wrist, and much more.

The PineTime can be easily and securely paired with an Android smartphone, the PinePhone (Pro), other Linux smartphones and even Linux desktop or laptop computers.
